Proton Therapy Centre in Hungary

    feels closely connected to the country of Hungary, its history and its present and has committed itself to the region of Recsk for many years - The creation of jobs and the improvement of the infrastructure in this region are our main concerns.

The Mátra, soft mountains, the sky and the forest that are mirrored in the lake, crystal clear air and friendly people - this environment was exactly what the initiators searched for in order to give cancer patients hope and vital energy on their way to recovery.

    We want to establish a Proton Therapy Centre on a 20 hectare site in a beautiful environment which would then be one of seven Proton Centres in the clinical field in Europe.

A vision,

which is supposed to give the people in the region, in the country of Hungary and the people in the neighbouring states a technology and the possibility of healing which has been proven worldwide.

All around the globe, more than 130,000 patients have been treated with proton therapy. The success rate in treating eye tumors is with more than 90% one of the highest in cancer treatment. Proton therapy places almost no health restrictions. During the therapy, the patient can be active and move without any problems.

A look into the future

  • Apart from the proton therapy centre, training and seminar centres, residential facilties for medical personnel and a 4-star spa will be built. There will also be bungalows and residential homes for the accommodation of patients, visitors and accompanying guests.

  • Due to the unique landscape and the high recreational value, an area can be created close to the “Proton Therapy Centre Hungary” where patients and their families and guests can enjoy being immersed in a refreshing holiday “feeling”.

What are the next steps?

  • Felix 2000 has presented its vision to responsible members of the government, of the health area and to investors in order to achieve its great goal of implementing such an innovative project for the good of cancer patients in Hungary; in the neighbouring states and for the peoples of all other European countries.
